During this period, the Security area of Puerto Aventuras maintained a continuous effort in prevention, surveillance, and community attention, continuing the actions of physical security, electronic security, and preventive operations at various points in the complex.
Main results
Physical Security
- 2 home burglaries were reported.
- 4 thefts at construction sites were reported, recorded in Akumal.
- 5 thefts of various items were reported, successfully identifying the responsible party.
- 1 golf cart theft was recorded, recovered the same day of the incident.
- As part of the operation “Fast and Furious Jr.”, 10 interventions were carried out.
- 6 recoveries of different items were made, including a wallet and a backpack.
- 39 direct attentions were provided to different cases.
- 127 infractions were applied.
- 788 wristbands were issued.
- 2 meetings were held with companies, committees, and unions.
- 3 reports related to snakes were attended.
- The Security center handled approximately 5,400 calls.
- 3 accidents were attended, none serious.
- 14 traffic and security supports were provided at events.
- During this period, no attentions were recorded for attempts of phone extortion.
- 1 person was banned from Puerto Aventuras for various reasons.
- 1 death was attended to due to natural causes.
Electronic Security
During this period, the technological infrastructure supporting surveillance and monitoring efforts continued to be strengthened:
- 65 video analyses were conducted, obtaining results in approximately 70% of the cases, related to the recovery of objects and identification of those responsible.
- 26 cameras were reactivated.
- 3 camera repairs were made.
- 4 poles without power were attended to.
- 4 repairs were made on access points and installation of barriers.
- 1 repair was made on the bike lane.
- 1 CCTV installation with panels was completed, currently functioning at 100%.
- 5 technical supports were provided to the Association's offices.
Currently, the system has 90 operational surveillance cameras, distributed as follows:
- 24 cameras at the main entrance.
- 63 cameras on roadways.
- 3 radar cameras.
Preventive Operations
During this period, various preventive operations were maintained and reinforced at strategic points in Puerto Aventuras, including:
- Golf Course.
- Speed control operation.
- Perimeter fence.
- Kantenah Bridge.
- Operation “Fast and Furious Jr.”.
- Control and surveillance actions at beach access points in two locations: Beach Club and Punta Matzoma.
