General Assemblies

The General Assembly of Associates is the body for participation and decision-making in our Association.

General Description

The General Assembly of Associates is the space where our community participates, gets informed, and makes decisions on the most important matters of the Association. According to the Bylaws of the Association of Colonists, Property Owners, and Trustees of Puerto Aventuras, A.C., the Assemblies are held in accordance with the call issued by the Management or the Board of Directors, at the specified place, date, and time.

Quorum

General Assemblies are considered legally established with the attendance of associates representing more than half of the total votes. If that percentage is not met at the scheduled time, the Bylaws allow for a period of up to thirty minutes to record attendance, and after that time, the Assembly may be held with the votes present, except in cases where the Bylaws require a special quorum.

Decisions

The resolutions adopted in the Assembly are binding on all members of the Association, even those who did not attend or voted differently. Therefore, the informed participation of each associate is essential to continue strengthening an orderly, transparent, and committed community in Puerto Aventuras.
