Our story

Puerto Aventuras is a planned and private community in Quintana Roo, created with a clear purpose: to combine a high-quality residential life with amenities and services typical of a coastal destination, without losing the order, security, and community structure that make a subdivision feel like home.

From vision to community
The development began in the late 1980s as one of the first large-scale integrated projects in the region, planned from the outset with defined residential areas, shared community infrastructure, and a vision for long-term maintenance and operation. The marina and coastal recreation components became distinctive elements, while the residential neighborhoods formed the heart of daily life.

Built around shared spaces
Puerto Aventuras was designed to be walkable and livable, with common areas and facilities that residents can enjoy year-round. Over time, these shared assets—roads, landscaping, lighting, security, water systems, and community spaces—have become even more relevant as the community has grown, making solid management and collective care essential.

Puerto Aventuras today
Today, Puerto Aventuras is home to permanent residents, seasonal owners, and multigenerational families, united by a shared commitment to keep the community safe, well-maintained, and financially healthy. It remains a place where planning, active governance, and collaboration among neighbors continue to build a stable and vibrant community.
