As part of the work we have been doing in coordination with CFE, during the last session, important progress was made at different points of the electrical infrastructure in Puerto Aventuras.
The work has included preventive pruning, infrastructure review, and attention to various points that required intervention. As the crews advanced, they also encountered situations that, due to their complexity, required more time and work than initially planned.
Among the actions taken, progress was made in the process of replacing damaged poles in Bahía Chemuyil, work was done on the transformer located in Punta Matzoma, and the pole in Bahía Xaak that showed significant deterioration and risk of falling was addressed, in addition to various pruning and maintenance tasks throughout the complex.
We know that there is still much work to be done and several points that require follow-up. However, we consider the progress made to be very positive and, especially, the coordination that has been established to continue progressively addressing the needs of our electrical infrastructure.
We want to especially thank CFE for their willingness and collaboration to continue scheduling the necessary sessions until the pending work is completed. Each intervention allows us to advance, identify new needs, and continue working preventively to have a safer and more reliable infrastructure.
From the Association of Colonists, we will continue to follow up and coordinate the upcoming actions. Some of these tasks require again the release and temporary suspension of the electrical supply, so once CFE confirms the date of the next day, we will communicate it in advance so that the entire community can take the necessary precautions.
These advances are the result of coordinated work and represent important steps to continue improving our infrastructure.
We continue to move forward, knowing that there is still much to be done, but with the certainty that we are working together to achieve it.
