As part of the commitment of the Puerto Aventuras Colonists Association to transparency, institutional order, and the proper updating of its legal documents, a comprehensive review of the Bylaws and the Assembly minutes that are part of the history of our Association was carried out.

This process represented an important work of research, compilation, and documentary analysis. With the support of a specialized law firm, a legal audit and an investigation before the Public Registry of Property and Commerce of the State were conducted, where 58 Assemblies related to the Association were identified.

At the same time, the legal team conducted a review of the current legalized Bylaws. As a result of this analysis, it was concluded that it is advisable to work on a proposal for updating and modernizing the Bylaws, with the aim of adapting them to the current needs of the Association and strengthening its institutional functioning.

It is important to clarify that at this moment no modifications to the Bylaws are being made. This stage consists solely of the analysis and development of a modernization proposal.

Any modification must be made in accordance with the Bylaws themselves and submitted for consideration by an Assembly, for which the corresponding attendance of 51% is required. Therefore, no change will be made unilaterally.

This work is part of the commitment to continue strengthening our Association on clear, updated, and legally solid bases.

We will continue to inform the community as this process progresses and, once a proposal exists, it will be communicated in a timely manner.
