One step closer to its installation!!
We are very pleased to share excellent news: the sargassum deflector barrier has arrived in Puerto Aventuras.
After months of planning, coordination, manufacturing, and transportation, as well as numerous procedures, management, and authorizations with the various authorities and relevant instances, this important project for our community finally enters its last stage: installation.
Currently, the weather and sea conditions are not favorable to begin the placement maneuvers. For safety and to ensure that the work is done correctly, it will be necessary to wait for the weather to improve.
As soon as conditions allow, installation work will begin in the coming days.
This is a significant advance for Puerto Aventuras and the result of many months of work, follow-up, and joint effort, as well as the commitment and contribution of our community.
We are getting closer to seeing this project become a reality and to having a tool that will help protect our coasts.
We will continue to share with you the progress of this last stage.
