The attention to sargassum in Puerto Aventuras continues to progress thanks to the coordinated work between the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR), vessels from the Puerto Aventuras Marina, private companies, and the Colonos Association.

In recent days, efforts to address our coasts have been reinforced with the aim of reducing the impact of sargassum and protecting our beaches.

We want to express special gratitude to the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR) for their support, collaboration, and commitment to this important task, as well as to all the actors who have joined this joint effort.

Additionally, we are pleased to inform you that the sargassum deflector barrier will begin its transfer to the shores of Quintana Roo in the coming days, marking a very important step for the implementation of this project that seeks to provide a long-term solution for our community.

As of today, June 10, 2026, a total of $5,353,149.33 MXN has been raised for this project.

We deeply thank all the owners who have already made their contributions and we make a respectful call to those who still have their contributions pending to do so as soon as possible. To complete the installation of the barrier, it is necessary to cover the total cost, and the participation of everyone is essential to achieve this goal.

We will continue to share updates on this important project for Puerto Aventuras.

Together we can face the sargassum and continue taking care of our beaches.

Good Puerto 💙
