Attention to sargassum requires ongoing and coordinated work.

In Puerto Aventuras, the Colonos Association works daily in conjunction with the Secretary of the Navy (SEMAR), the Puerto Aventuras Marina, hotels, condominiums, beachfront residences, private companies, and boat owners, combining efforts both on land and at sea to reduce the impact of this phenomenon.

Thanks to this collaboration, since March, more than 1,100 tons of sargassum have been removed, also making more than 450 truck trips and accumulating over 2,800 hours of work dedicated to cleaning and collection.

These actions help keep our beaches in better condition and benefit the entire community, residents, visitors, businesses, and service providers.

We thank everyone who is part of this effort and will continue working to protect the environment we share.

Good Puerto 💙
