In order to maintain order, security, and the proper image of our community, we inform you that a procedure will be implemented for the identification and monitoring of vehicles that are abandoned or parked incorrectly in common areas and roadways.

This procedure will apply to:

  • Cars
  • Trucks
  • Motorcycles
  • Golf carts
  • Trailers
  • ATVs
  • Any other vehicle that remains in common areas or roadways

Monitoring process

  1. Security personnel will register and document with photographs the vehicles reported as abandoned or improperly parked.
  2. Identified vehicles will be placed with a violation and notification sticker.
  3. From that notification, a period of 90 calendar days (3 months) will be granted for the owner to remove, relocate, or regularize the situation of the vehicle.
  4. During this period, Security personnel will make periodic visits to document and follow up on each case.
  5. If at the end of the 90 days there is no movement of the vehicle or contact from the owner to address the situation, the case will be referred to the competent authorities.
  6. In coordination with Municipal Traffic, the vehicle may be removed and taken to the appropriate impound lot.
  7. All expenses arising from towing, storage, fines, fees, and any other charges incurred will be the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

Attached to this communication is a folder with images of the vehicles that have currently been reported and documented by Security for a period exceeding three months.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation in keeping our roadways, common areas, and public spaces safe and orderly for the benefit of the entire community.
