The protection of our beaches and the bay of Puerto Aventuras is a matter of great importance for the entire community. Over the past few months, theSargasso Committee, made up of community volunteers, has worked consistently and responsibly in analyzing different alternatives for the management and mitigation of sargassum in our area.

As a result of this process, the Committee presents aproposal that includes the recommendation of a provider and the project for the installation of a barrierdesigned to reduce the influx of sargassum into the bay, considering technical, operational, environmental, and financial criteria.

Additionally, theSargasso Committeehas made available in theCrystal Officevoting intention formsto gauge the preliminary interest and possible approval probabilities of this proposal by the community., con el objetivo de conocer de manera preliminar el interés y las posibles probabilidades de aprobación de esta propuesta por parte de la comunidad.

Property owners who wish to do so cancome to review and sign these formsfromMonday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..

Additionally, theSargassum Committeehas madeintention-to-vote formsavailable at theGlass Office, with the purpose of obtaining a preliminary sense of community interest and the potential level of approval for this proposal.

Property owners who wish to do so mayreview and sign these forms Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This exercise does not constitute a formal vote, but rather an informational tool to help the Committee and the Association better understand the community’s perspective.
