As a continuation of the information shared yesterday about the electrical failure, we want to tell you how the work was carried out and what are the next steps that will be taken in conjunction with the CFE.
👉 Location of the damage
The problem was found in the register located next to La Lomita. The service interruption was due to a failure in the connectors of the high-voltage underground main line. The affected area was isolated in order to replace the damaged parts.
👉 Progressive restoration of service
After the changes, power was restored first in most sectors, except in Punta Celis, Yanten Bay and Matzoma, around 5:00 p.m.
Later, at the conclusion of the work, the supply was resumed in the sectors that were still pending, everything being restored at 9:30 p.m.
👉 Teamwork
Throughout the day, the staff of Colonos and the Trust provided support to the CFE team, which made it possible to speed up the maneuvers and reduce waiting times for the neighbors.
👉 Future actions
In addition to resolving the failure, a complete inspection visit to the Puerto Aventuras electrical installation was coordinated with the CFE, which will be carried out in the coming weeks. The objective is to evaluate the state of the infrastructure and plan the necessary improvements to prevent similar situations.
We want to emphasize that direct communication with CFE leaders at the local level is being strengthened, which will allow us to better follow up on cases and expedite future reparations.
